March 15 IRONYJust read a rather amusing comment today.
I opened up the BBC on the net and on the frontpage I see a story;
"The alleged mastermind of the 9/11 attacks has confessed to his role in them, and 30 other terror plots around the world, the Pentagon says. "I was responsible for the 9/11 operation, from A to Z," said Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in a transcript of a US hearing at Guantanamo Bay prison camp" Doesn't this seem ridiculous? It reminds me of the witchhunts of ancient times, where the Spanish Inquisition would get people to confess by torturing them in ridiculously gruesome ways until they finally gave in. Let me spell it out; He has been tortured for two years, he will say WHATEVER THEY WANT HIM TO SAY. January 28 myspace - wtfI don't get this trend with myspace
I understand myspace is a great tool for keeping in touch and catching up with people you haven't talked to for a while.
One of the fundamentals is the "friends" system - you can see a persons other friends and find if you know any, if so adding them and expanding your network.
Yet a trend I have seen develop lately has been to hide the friends thing - what the hell?
People say that its because of the ranking system - that people get pissed off if they aren't number 1 on every single persons myspace. I can see a solution to this - either have it random or alphabetical
But by hiding your friends list, you are completely sabotaging the effective operation of myspace. How else are you to find people?
November 21 Stuffed Dream...I had this ridiculously stuffed dream last night.
I was in the car with Markiyan, and we were going to schoolies. On the way, we stopped at an Italian resturant. Suddenly I had the realisation that I hadn't done my legal studies exam yet, which confused me, but none the less I went with it and went back to school. I turned up two hours after the exam had started but no one seemed to mind. I had forgotten the difference between section 92 and 96 of the Constitution, so I asked Mr Reid about it, only he tried to explain to me that Tied Grants were (as we walked down the escelator of boxhill shopping centre) non existant. Next thing I know I was in the car with Tegan and Jess. I asked to borrow Tegan's Constitution, I open it, it has from section 1 - 49, but then the next section was 100 - go figure. Anyway, as i'm reading it, it morphs into this study guide thing for chopper reid. So I still couldn't work out my problem of not knowing what section was which. We then drove past a farm, which had a fight between two giant blow up figurines on huge water storing tanks.
So there you go...
October 07 North Korea, Iran and why action is required. The recent tests in the news recently have served as a poigent reminder about the potential danger of North Korea to the western world. However, if the US decides to take some kind of action, for once I will agree with them. The reason is this; if we continue to let NK delay, and try and impose sanctions which have clearly not worked, diplomatic action which has been a joke when dealing with a man as eccentric, tyrranical, and unreasonable as Kim Jong, we will end up with a fully nuclear capable North Korea. Once these people have nukes, it is too late. What can we do against a man who will threaten to attack China or South Korea, causing the deaths of millions? Nothing. The time for action is now, before they are in an impenetrable position. Evidently this action will be hard to take, but it is nessecary. The day NK has functional nukes is a day too late. Even now, its becoming progressively more risky. The same can be said for Iran. Here we have a man who sees as it his religous role to hasten the "Armageddon", and to destroy the state of Israel. He sees himself as a great martyr for his cause. How can the west negotiate with such a man? The situation is similar to NK; once Iran has nukes, it is simply too late. If an invasion was threatened, they could simply threaten to nuke Israel. It is difficult with the US's forces stretched as they currently are, and political support for the various wars on a definete wane at home. However, this is one area in which NATO, and the UN, could make a substantial difference. An international force to disarm as a primary focus North Korea, and a secondary one Iran, should in my opinion be a high priority in the worlds affairs. It is not a good thing for the free world to have unpredictable countries fighting for survival, with nukes. August 31 The man who maketh senseTen movies streaming across that, that internet, and what happens to your own personal internet? I just the other day got...an internet was sent by my staff at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, I got it yesterday. Why? They want to deliver vast amounts of information over the Internet. And again, the Internet is not something you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes. And if you don't understand those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material. - US Senator Ted Stevens, giving his views on the internet. August 14 LebannonWell its good theres at least a cease fire to the conflict
matt showde me this video on google
it may appear biased, but at the very least its an eye opener into the horrors of war. So many of us in Australia live sheltered existances, not realising the brutality of wars we may commit our troops to.
maybe if more people saw what war was really like they wouldn't be so eager to send troops off, or to start wars over issues that can be solved diplomatically.
note; its all very well to consider the political implications of this video, but it may be more beneficial to simply view it as a lesson in why way should be avoided... August 06 Seussical!Well Seussical is all over now
Pretty sad, like this year its the last of everything for us and doing the "last musical" is really quite a downer. I spose its becuase the cast grows close, its heaps of fun, and its a real team effort, so to suddenly have it finish without another one in sight is quite annoying.
But the show itself was heaps of fun! When it was first chosen I was pretty annoyed - I didn't think it'd be any good. But I went in it, loved my character, and yeah, so I am actually glad we did it, haha. It was a colorful exciting production and was heaps of fun
So yeah, on a whimisical note, good night. July 01 God Hates Fags.Tonight I watched what I consider to be one of the greatest shows ever made - The Chasers War on Everything. Tonight, they attacked a very deserving target.
In regards to September 11;
"You are supremely arrogant and evil if you don't believe that your Creator was responsible for September 11."
In regards to IED's - bombs that have been responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans in Iraq. "The IED is God's weapon of choice in avenging Westboro Baptist Church by blowing America's kids to smithereens in Iraq. And the carnage has barely begun."
In regards to Sweden, which allows gay marriage.
I think the point has been made. I find it impossible to understand how such a terrible organisation can exist. I publish this blog in the hope that people learn that such people as this, in the world today, do exist. It is truly distressing. I can't believe that such morons exist. And I thought NineMSN "Today", Bush, and the Bali 9 were bad... The stupidity bar has been raised by this church, to unprecedented heights!
On a brighter note, WoE completely wrecked them. If you have a chance to see the episode; please do. WoE shows on ABC at various timeslots on a friday night inbetween 9:30-10:15. Highly recomended! May 22 The Bling shizzle to end all bling shizzleYep

April 21 Bling Bling money, Bling Bling money, Hell yea, Hell yeaBling Bling money, Bling Bling money, Hell yea, Hell yea April 16 Ninemsn is the GAY and the people who read it are idiots!Far out
"Msn Today" pops up every time i sign into msn. For a while now I have been perplexed with the crap it sprouts. Its always concerned with celebrities, idiots, giant babies, cleavage, or very *VERY* occasionally, politics.
What really struck me and was the purpose behind this blog, was a picture with a caption; "Peace Talks"
I clicked on the article, hoping that *maybe* it would be about something remotely important. I was however, disapointed.
The article was about some athlete calling up a fellow athelete and apologising.
Well i'll be damned. What kind of crap is this? Right now in the world, there are people dying, people killing eachother. In Palestine/Israel at the moment there is a huge problem in that since Hamas took power Israel has refused up to 50 million dollars in duties, which could result in hundreds of thousands of palestinians going without pay.
In Nepal, there is almost a civil war, in Iraq, there are ongoing problems, etc etc.
In otherwords, there are PLENTY better ways to frame an article around the phrase "peace talks" So what the hell is up with this. This is a load of crap. This celebrity bullshit, it really worries me. But what worries me more, is that this is the kind of crap that Australians want to read! The only reason its there in the first place is that people find that kind of thing interesting. I'll quote a few more article titles from the same "Today".
"TV's Supernanny ready with advice" "New York City babies love to boogie"
"Japanese cinemas gets smelly" WHAT THE ****!
WHAT THE FREAKING HELL IS THAT KIND OF CRAP BEING REPORTED FOR!
So anyway, it bothers me. To know that Australians, are more interested in reading this utter bullshit, then to learn about things of actual importance in the world, or even in Australia. How people can read that crap and actually enjoy it is beyond me. There are so many more pressing issues, right now for instance there is the problem with Indonesia and the fate of the Papuans, the question of selling uranium to china, the fact that the new asylum laws could see CHILDREN behind barbed wire.
I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
So to not only ninemsn, but the deranged idiots who read and enjoy this crap, I send a desperate plea; please, for the sake of the fact that we need INTELLIGENT people in this country, educate yourselves. Go look at or read something that has significance and importance.
Damn noobs.
If there is ANYONE who reads this and enjoys this on a regular basis, PLEASE SPEAK UP! I want to know how people as delusioned as you can exist. April 02 THE REIGN OF TERRORYep new blog this time its about the recent terrorism laws
Its been getting to me for a while, these people who are complaining about these laws. They say it takes away our freedoms, that its unfair, that goes against democracy, blah freaking blah
The terror laws give the government the power to do what they want with their citizens, and I say about time. Even if the odd innocent is locked up and never heard from again; who cares, because we'll never know :)
For those who say that the existing legislation was enough; that’s nonsense. Under the old legislation we actually had to give these terrorists a fair trial! Can you believe this? These people don't deserve the tax payers money it takes to run a trial, and so it is much better that they are just locked up indefinitely, out of the publics way. As well as this, the procedure used to be so much more complicated, police had to apply for all sorts of permissions and have evidence before they could arrest. Who needs evidence when we are dealing with mass-murdering terrorists! Thank god the police can now just walk into a terrorists house and take him.
I applaud the Howard Government for their decision in this matter.
ATTENTION!!!!! April 01 OMFG WTF PWNAGE COMING SOON ROFLEZOMG
another saga
its coming
its going to be BIG
its going to be CONTROVERSIAL
its going to THROW WORDS AT YOUR FACE IN CAPITALS
So prepare to see the ultimate showdown

side note;
my blog > operation see red
March 28 Have a cry bali 9, you got what you deserved.I've been sort of following this issue since it became an issue
However, my attention was specifically drawn to it today in english, when we were alerted as to our issue (bali 9) and forced to watch two tv reports on them
We saw the crying, the "Its not fair!" etc etc all the normal crap you come to expect from these emotion filled reports. We saw images of babies (REALLY RELEVANT!), photos of one of the suspects when he was a boy, heard about how he was a rugby captain etc etc i.e useless crap to make us feel sympathy.
Well I didn't feel sympathy. Those people were idiots, I mean for one smuggling drugs is a stupid thing to do but to Indonesia where its freaking drug-crack-down-central, how stupid can you get! We even heard one father talk about how he saw all the warning signs -so why the hell didn't he do anything!
Anyway, one of the mothers was saying "The police shouldn't have done it. They should have got him to come home while they had the chance, it doesn't matter if their mission was compromised." Excuse me? The police had been watching some of these worthless pricks for some time, and this mother has the nerve to say that a most probably multi-million dollar operation should be compromised because her son has become involved in drugs and she didn't do anything about it. Yeah, ok then. Another thing that gets me is the crying about tipping off the indonesian police.
I mean what the hell, these people were taking HUGE amounts of drugs into indonesia. These drugs would have gone to people, hundreds of people, sustaining their addiction and addicting more people. The Australian police were completely just in what they did; the cry baby parents of the bali 9 just haven't gotten over it
I don't care if it was apparantly (probably NOT) in breach of some law about being exposed to the death penalty, these lunatics knew they were taking drugs, they knew it was illegal, and so its their fault. I'm not advocating the death penalty; i'm just saying, if you walk into a lion cage, prepare to get bitten.
Another load of crap was the appealing to christianity in the court room. A few of the bali idiots in their defense talked about "I'm a new person! I believe in jesus!"
I don't care if you've had a spiritual revelation or not; its a pathetic tactic to try and win judges over with an appeal to religion. Religion is seperate to State; and if they were truly religious, they wouldn't squander their beliefs in a cheap ploy to get a few years off a verdict they deserve. March 27 OMGOMGOMGOMGOGOGOMGOGOGOGMOGMGOMGOMits 11:09 pm
don't mind what it says about the entry, because that one has a stuffed early-daylight-savings clock
